PB TIPS PB Graphics can over-see your entire design and print project from conception through to completion. As all design work is charged on a time basis you can provide elements of the job which can save us time and therefore you money. Below is a series of handy tips to help you get the best and most cost effective solution to your design and print project. Project Brief: Try to provide a full and detailed brief with as much information as you possibly can. Information such as deadlines, quantities, are photographs required, the number of colours you wish to use, do you have a current corporate style you wish us to follow etc, will help us to quote for your exact requirements. Budget Restraints: If you make us aware of your budget we will work within your restraints to give you the best possible solution for your money. Project Elements: Projects can be made up of many elements supplied by the client, such as copy and photography. Where-ever possible we ask that all these elements are supplied together. Copy Writing: PB Graphics provide a copy writing service but there may be instances when you have suitable copy already available. Just by simply pasting this into an email can save time keying it in again. Supplying Photographs & Graphics: Please supply photographs/graphics as tiffs, jpegs or eps files, the ideal resolution for most print jobs is 300dpi, CMYK. Images pulled from the internet are not generally suitable for print due to their low resolution (72dpi), it may look good on screen but it won't on paper. Please note most internet images are subject to copyright which we are not legally entitled to use without written permission. |
